| Reaching the crest we had a view of Muir Pass, the low crest below the dark peak. The John Muir/Pacific Crest trail comes up from the lower left and then goes along the left hand shore of Wanda Lake before passing to the left of small lake just visible below the pass. If one wanted they could have gone cross country from Hell For Sure pass to Davis Lake and on the Wanda Lake. Wanda Lake is named for one of John Muir's two daughters. |
