| As we descended from Helen lake along the creek we had this great view of the smoke in Le Conte Canyon. It reminds me of flying into Los Angeles. Something I never enjoyed when in the Air Force. Since I mention flying. I did see two Navy fighters illegally flying too low. There are flight restrictions on how high they can fly over a National Park but they commonly ignore it. Please not the time and day and report it to the Park Service. If you make a lot of complaints maybe something will happen. The pilots think that everyone likes to see them fly over, while in reality most people don't come here to listen to them fly over. |
