| This is most of the group that went to Korea along with Mr. Yoon-joon Kim on the right. On the far left is Mr. Ja-Ryong Gu, the person in charge of our group. Next to him is Mr. Ji-Seok Jang, a college student who was hired to help as a translator. He spoke excellent english and you would have had no idea that he was Korean if you talked to him. We gave him a hard time about his hair and having to wear a hard hat. This picture was taken just before we left POSCOS's Human Resources Development Center. Some of the finest classrooms I've ever seen are in this building, along with a nice Dining Hall and Dormitories. Nearby was the Pohang Technical University which POSCO helped to build and is one of the finest Technical Universities in Korea. Several people didn't make this picture session as they were inside calling their wives. |
