| On a previous trip to the same area I saw these deer a short distance from where I saw the probably Mt Lion. If it had been the same day I'm sure the Mt Lion would have been nearby. This particular hike took place about 4 hours after the 49'ers were knocked out of the playoffs. There was a continuous stream of small business jets headed back to the bay area. Most of the time I've been here I haven't heard that many planes but the weather was such that the traffic into the bay area was coming in from the north instead of the south. Usually its quiet out here except for a pilot that sometimes practices loops etc. |
