This is the main square in Ulan Ude. Lenins head is located in front of the white building to the left. The second building on the right is the Bikal hotel. The crews used to stay there. People told me stories about coming back to their room and finding their flight suits laid out on the beds so that all the patches were visible as if they were laid out to have pictures taken. KGB?
