| Spray Falls is a popular destination. Some people day hike here from the Chapel or Little Beaver Lake Trailheads. The best view is from the east. Below I've zoomed in for a better view with Chapel Beach in the background. You can just make out the white water behind a cruise boat to the right of the beach. They make several trips a day from Munising up as far as Spray Falls before turning back. I believe it takes about 1 1/2 hours. I've seen winter pictures where an ice shelf has formed and you could hike along the base of the cliff. |
