trail follows the Temperance River for some ways. I
had an accident taking the second picture. It had been raining off
& on so there was a bit of mud on my shoes. When I stepped down
onto the river smooth rocks which slopped down I slipped and my feet
came out from under me, and I landed flat on my butt. I really wanted to
keep hiking but it hurt quite a bit. Thinking that the Superior Shuttle
would be coming by soon I decided to head down to the road to meet him.
I realized I'd made the right decision when my wrist started to swell
up. The last picture was taken about 3 weeks later after a night of
heavy rain. |
