| On your descent to Lake Alpine you'll be able to see the Dardanelles, just below the horizon. There is a sign on Highway 4 just past Lake Alpine that warns against long trailers. Average speed past this point is about 35 mph due to the narrow road with sharp corners and steep cliffs. For those people too lazy to get out and walk this road offers some great views. |
