| After leaving the Dardanelles you drop down to the campgrounds along the Clark Fork. If you're lucky like I was someone will pick you up and give you a ride to the end of the road. The two young ladies I picked up last summer were greatful for the ride. If you are planning on walking all the way to Kennedy Meadows later on you'll soon realize that walking along a road isn't fun. The trail continues from below the Iceburg up the Clark Fork. Most of this hike was through the forest but as you reach the top of the climb you finally see more granite. |
