| Highway 108 is visible below. If you're hiking about 10 miles a day and planning on taking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) you'll probably end up camping next to the road like I did. If you're going to Kennedy Meadows stick out your thumb and stay near the resort. The PCT is only half a mile up the road and there are few places to camp. Once on the PCT you'll spend the first two hours climbing with no water. |
