| If you drive Highway 108 over the mountains you'll notice one thing that sets this area apart from the rest, the Marines. In the center of this picture is a Marine helicopter as it flies over Sonora Pass on its way to The Marine Corps training base at Pickle Meadows. They do winter training here along with rock climbing near Leavitt Meadows. |
