| A good example of Alpen Glow. This is looking toward the Shepherd Crest and Sheep Peak and was taken from Spiller Creek. Upper McCabe Lake is in the bowl in the center of the picture. The last time I camped near Spiller Creek I had rinsed all my clothes out and had them hanging on a bush to dry. I was preparing to jump in the creek when I spotted a Bobcat looking at my clothes. It didn't see me till I moved, causing it to turn and run so fast it fell in the creek. |
