| We had great views along the
Ides Cove Trail. In the top picture is a view across the Sacramento
Valley to Mt Lassen while in the bottom picture is a view of
Mt Shasta to the North. At our camp the first night we were able
to see lights from the valley but still had dark skies for viewing
the stars. One thing I didn't miss in comparison to Yosemite
was the almost complete lack of airplanes flying overhead. |
