| As with the rest of California, summer time means the return to the golden hills. Unfortunately about the only green that you'll find is the star thistles. This weed has made its way to the United States from Africa and is very harmful. It takes over everything making it difficult if you get off the trail. In fact you may not want to get off the trail at all as you find it everywhere. Its also poisonous to horses. |
