I will tell you the name of this lake since you have a good hike to reach it. Its Clyde Lake and Mosquito Pass is in the notch at the top of the picture. I can't make claim to any of these pictures as a friend took them while I was reading a book at camp off to the left side of the lake. My one complaint about the hike in is the cows. I can hardly agree with the BLM's policies, especially when they ask hikers to use minimum impact camping. This seems to me to be a dual standard as cows are maximum impact. In the Carson Iceburg Wilderness I've even been unable to find a trail due to the damage done by cows. |
