| Nearing the top of the climb out of Yosemite Valley you'll get some good views of the Clark Range with Mt Clark the tallest peak on the right. This peak is visible from highway 120 if you're headed to Tuolumne Meadows. Before this point there is a place where the trail parallels Sunrise Creek for awhile. This area is a Lateral Moraine 2000 feet above the river below. Another view of Mt Clark is below. |
