As you make this climb you'll get excellent views of Mt Lyell as well as down the canyon toward Tuolumne Meadows as seen below. The climb from here to Donahue Pass (11,056 ft) is an easy one compared to what you've already done. Its only about 4 miles from here to Island Pass, but you'll hardly recognize that as a pass after this climb. |
