| One of the few pictures I have of Evolution Valley. Years later while hiking the John Muir Trail it was several days before I noticed that my film wasn't advancing. This valley is a long valley and a rangers cabin is located here. Its comprised of three meadows, Evolution, McClure and Colby. Leaving Colby Meadow you quickly climb up above tree line. On this hike we took a crosscountry route up McGee Canyon near the Hermit. |
