| The Au Sable Lighthouse Station. First operational in 1874, it was converted to automatic operation in 1958 and is still operated by the Coast Guard but is now part of the park service. Tours are available but check the schedule. Its only 1 1/2 miles from the Hurricane River campground but transportation is available for the handicapped. |
