PICTURED ROCKS NATIONAL SEASHORE

Heading southwest from the lighthouse you'll immediatly find yourself parralleling Twelvemile beach which had these interesting sandstone formations created by the waves. Just south of the lighthouse is the first of two shipwrecks. Don't bother walking on the trail. If you do you'll end up backtracking a short distance to the first shipwreck so you might as well hit the beach at the lighthouse and walk the short distance to the shipwreck and continuing till you see the stairs leading back up to the trail. When you reach the campground you'll see a sign for the second shipwreck. Below are the pictures of the 2 shipwrecks and a sign that talks about the area.
