Some of the deer that you will likely see while hiking at Pt Reyes. I'm not sure if they are still there, but I've seen White Fales Deer at Pt Reyes. These white deer were brought over from the Mediteranian some time ago, but the last few times I've been there I haven't seen any. Rumor is that they may have been gotten rid of to allow the native deer to survive. This is only a rumor but I can understand could be true. When I have time I'll add some pictures of them. I have one shot taken on a Christmas Eve which shows 17 of the White Fales Deer. On this day I hiked up into the clouds to reach Sky Camp. While walking along I realized that I was walking between about 10 deer which were about 25 feet away on both sides of the trail. Parts of the park are like a rain forest, with plenty of vegitation and bug ferns growing everywhere.
