Its
always nice to hike the SHT when the wild flowers are blooming and
there are plenty of raspberries out. The Faultline campsite has plenty
of raspberries right at the campsite, as well as plenty of hummingbirds
flying around. The campsite toilet probably has the best views of any
campsite. Its located higher up and looks out over a pond. The campsite is
named for an ancient fault line which I believe is visible in the next
photo, and has a long straight pond following the fault line. The trees bent over are
from an ice storm in April 2009. The last phone is from insects
burrowing a tunnel through the dirt in the winter. I'm guessing from
Carpenter Ants.
