| There are a lot of wildflowers in the Desolation. These pictures were taken in August on what could be called a normal year. They were being fed by the snow melting above them which was on a north facing slope so the snow melted slower. I don't like to say where I took these pictures but I will tell you where I took the third picture on this page. It was taken along the road from Highway 50 to Wrights Lake. The remaining pictures were taken in the wilderness. |
