| The trail along Triple Creek and the Merced River Is a very scenic trail, and one I've done a number of times, especially the one from Merced Lake to Yosemite Valley, which I've probably done at least 10 times. Camping is limited between Merced Lake and Little Yosemite Valley. Echo Canyon below Merced Lake has some spots, but I think many people avoid the valley since its had two fires that I know about. Camping isn't allowed between the signs at each end of Lost Valley, and I doubt anyone would want to stay there due to the high fire risk which you'll see in my photos. Once you reach Little Yosemite Valley you can camp at the far east end, but from there you have to wait till you reach the campground. |
