Back in Seoul we visited the Changduck Palace which occupies 110 acres. This palace dates back to 1405. It was almost completely destroyed by the Japanese in 1592. Reconstruction was completed in 1610. The last Crown Princess lived here till her death in 1989. While we were waiting for the English tour to begin several people from our group took advantage of the free period costumes for some photos. Just like those at Buckingham Palace, these guards didn't move. |
