| Our first day was a rather long day. We started our day at 8 P.M. with our departure from Pittsburg California with a bus ride to the airport, followed by a long flight to Korea. We then took another bus from Incheon International Airport to Gimpo Airport where we caught a flight to Pohang. After we got our rooms we had our first Korean lunch. A short rest and we got on the bus and went to see the Pulguksa Temple. After visiting the temple it was back to Pohang for dinner at about 7 P.M. Korean time. We did get better with the chop sticks by the time we left and we found out one thing, the thinner metal chop sticks were harder to use than the thicker plastic ones. We also learned the Korean custom of drinking Soju. Maybe I shouldn't call it a custom but it sure was fun. |
