PHOTOS HOME

The two pictures above were taken at McMurdo scientific station on Ross Island in Antarctica. The station can be seen in the distance to the right of the hut in the top picture. The hut was erected by Admiral Scott's men around the turn of the century for his South Pole expeditions. The picture below shows a walrus which they left. After sitting here for over 90 years it is now less than 2 inches thick.
