| The descent from Muir Pass is in a narrow V shaped canyon for most of the way. Few trees are visible till you've gotten a few miles down the canyon. Below is one of my favorite pictures taken from my John Muir hike, and one of the reasons I don't mind hiking in bad weather. Or maybe I like it after I'm done and sitting at home looking at the pictures. Some of my best pictures have been in bad weather. I took shelter shortly before the rain hit. |
