 This picture is taken in what is called the Narrows. When the creek is low you can make you way down the creek. Just make sure you know what poison oak looks like if you do. I recommend this trip for several reasons. First is that it is pretty. Second is that it saves you not one, but two climbs on ranch roads. The Narrows takes you to China Hole, a
popular swim hole in the park. The trail from China Hole toward the park headquarters is one of the best in the park with plenty of switch backs to take you up to an intersection with the jeep road at the top. Follow the jeep road till you hit the Springs Trail. The Springs Trail may be longer than the jeep road but much easier to hike, and will take less time too.
