Again we weren't allowed
to take pictures but this one from a brochure shows a reversing
mill. A steel slab about 10 feet by 10 feet and about 7 inches
thick comes out of a reheating oven. It then goes back and forth
through the reversing mill. Every couple passes they spin the
strip around before it goes back through. When its done its about
40 feet long. I found a short clip that US Steel produced that
shows some of the things that we saw in the steel mills. Its
